Palettes at the newly renovated Art Museum brings an exciting contemporary feel with white walls, a black unfinished ceiling, open kitchen, and gorgeous art. The main dining area is bright with floor to ceiling windows and private dining spaces offer opportunities for meetings and parties. Owner Kevin Taylor delights diners with gourmet dishes presented beautifully. Lunch brings excellent sandwiches, salads, appetizers and entrees. Fried calamari, “cobb” salad, grilled salmon salad, a burger, chicken club with pancetta sandwich, and a blt with avocado entice guests. Dinner entrées include seared sushi grade tuna, grilled salmon, pork schnitzel, potato crusted veal porterhouse, risotto, and crispy chicken. Service is excellent and a nice wine list adds to the scene. What a treat to enjoy marvelous food and surroundings------and the incredible museum.
