Ed Novak, owner of the Broker and Cork House, has expanded into the breakfast business. He has become a franchisee of The Egg and I and opened the first spot on Leetsdale and Holly. The place is bright and cheery with comfortable seating.Families are welcome. The menu is the same as all the places: omelettes, frittata, eggs Benedict, pancakes and French toast start the list. Skillets are a specialty as are breakfast rellenos, huevos rancheros and burritos. Add sandwiches and salads for lunch plus other choices for non-egg eaters, and you have the menu. Several varieties of each catagory make choosing difficult. Enjoy pots of hot coffee and tea, friendly service and conversation to make rising early a good choice.
