Mangiamo pronto! has a prime spot in LoDo on the corner of 15th & Wazee to welcome all for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all with an Italian feel. The space is one bright big room with super colors, great art, high open ceiling, and big picture windows. A huge counter shows some of the dishes available, and you can watch the chefs at work in the kitchen behind. Order here and wait staff delivers your meal. Enjoy your choices at one of the many tables throughout the room. Start with breakfast with frittatas, pizza with sunny side up eggs and pancetta, French toast with Nutella, granola, oatmeal, and a daily sandwich. Any of these please all. Move on to lunch and dinner and start with tapas of olives, fresh anchovies, white bean hummus with duck crackling, puff pastry with roasted tomato conserva, chicken drumstick confit, cheese, and meats. Salads include caprese, arugula with roasted pear, Caesar, spinach, and watercress with avocado, roma tomatoes and pancetta. The panini please call and are outrageously good—and generous--with turkey cranberry, shredded pork loin, grilled zucchini and peppers, chicken breast with arugula and currants, salumi, coppa, prosciutto, pancetta, Mortadella and provolone, and tuna. Presentation is great with a side of flavored chips or garbanzo bean salad, and tastes bring an exciting combination of flavor and texture in each. There’s more with thin crust pizza: pork sausage, pancetta, cheese, red roasted chiles and tomatoes, spicy capicolla, cheese with mushrooms and Bianca. There’s a nice wine list to complement your meal and terrific coffees and desserts too. Do not leave without gelato-decadent and divine.It’s totally simple, casual, and simply great.
