Who would have thought two boys from England could pull off nationally recognized barbecue? Chris and Nick O’Sullivan prove they can, pleasing barbecue fans in every area of the city. From the original spot, a small room on Leetsdale and Monaco, to all the other locations, customers clamor for great ribs, chicken and more. There are four locations with the latest in Broomfield. It’s a real treat, with a separate bar area and a great feel, still keeping the casual design as a basis. All are welcoming and casual as you place your order and anxiously await the call that your order is ready. Start with the terrific St. Louis-style pork ribs, beef brisket, hot links, pulled pork, chicken slices or half chickens. All are lightly smoked, tender, juicy and full of flavor. You can get sandwiches, platters and half slabs in any combination. The sides match the quality of the meat: beans, potato salad and coleslaw. Some folks drop in just for an order of beans. Don’t miss the fries, hot and crispy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside. Experiment with Brothers’ house sauces: sweet, zippy with vinegar or hot. Whether you eat in or carry out, this is one terrific barbecue. Mother should be proud of these brothers.
