Lunch includes salad Niçoise, crêpe de poulet, grilled salmon and the quiche du jour, all served with soup or salad. Start dinner with utterly addictive loaves of French bread made on the premises. Onion soup, goat cheese fondue and any of the lovely salads make great appetizers, but the signature mussels served several different ways in a huge bowl with French fries are a must. Entrées include strip steak with sautéed wild mushrooms, delicious medallions of chicken breast, veal scaloppini and sole. The half Maine lobster in sweet butter with chanterelle mushrooms also makes a great choice. Everyone raves about the cassoulet, so be sure to visit on days when it’s available.
