Looking for one of Denver’s most authentic Mexican restaurants? Go no further than the corner of 7th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive. El Taco de Mexico is housed in a small bright-yellow building with a few barstools and a smattering of booths. The menu is large and varied. Burritos, enchiladas, tacos and some of the best green chile in town await you. Chile rellenos are soft and very flavorful. Mini tacos come on a double corn tortilla stuffed with anything from beef or fried pork to slow-cooked chicken. Mexican breakfasts are served all day long.
