Syrup is the latest addition to Cherry Creek North with breakfast. Walk down a few steps and enter the bright, cheery room. Touches of green, white chairs, and comfortable tables with a big window opening to the street set the scene. The food is breakfast and lunch and of course, features many items with syrup. There are several waffle dishes from traditional to chocolate or apple. The pancakes are great and you can get them silver dollar size or regular, thin and very tasty and your choice of regular, gluten free, or buckwheat. Eggs Benedict come in many forms, and omelets are many. Enjoy a breakfast sandwich, boulder and yogurt, oatmeal, eggs your way, and a burrito. Lunch features burgers, a thanksgiving sandwich with turkey and stuffing, a French toast sandwich stuffed with ham, cheese, tomato and bacon, and a Cobb club. There are salads as well as baskets of muffins, and beignets. It’s simple and fun and a good way to start the day.
