Café Options is special in many ways. The first is the place is great looking, bright, fun, with comfy seating in the one big room with colorful accents and a huge counter to order breakfast and lunch—and coffee and tea drinks. Next, the food is great. All made on premise, order breakfast favorites of scones, muffins, banana bread, granola, yogurt and oatmeal. Lunch brings great salads: Cobb, green papaya with pork, bistro with roast beef, tabbuleh, roasted vegetable, and Caesar. The hot sandwiches include French dip, el Cubano, caprese, turkey and sausage or delight in divine turkey club, roasted chicken salad, eggplant, roast beef and tuna nicoise. All are piled high with goodies and spices and served on excellent breads. The soups are worth the trip and change daily. Be sure to indulge in the pepper biscuit that accompanies them. There are yummy homemade cookies for dessert or to go with espresso bar offerings. Finally, this place is manned by the women who are part of Work Options For Women. This is a fabulous organization that gives homeless and impoverished women training and skills to be successful in the work field. And all the proceeds from Café Options go to the charity. Prices are affordable. Eat, drink, enjoy and knowing you support a great cause.
