Enter the great patio at Black Pearl with a stone community table that is awesome in design, complete with a fire pit in the center for warmth when necessary. In the bar/lounge, you can enjoy drinks or a meal or continue into the stunning dining area. Windows open onto the street; the high ceilings feature amazing light fixtures; while wood floors, putty-gray walls and ultra-simple, striking wood tables and chairs with printed fabric backings on the booths set the scene. Start with pumpkin bisque, grilled romaine with anchovy, mussels or several cheese selections. Sautéed Fried calamari, mac and cheese with mascarpone, and tuna spoons are other options. Entrees include gnocchi, crispy fish, lamb sirloin and steak. Desserts vary with the season. The wine list is nice, priced on the high side, with offerings by glass or bottle.
